I used to have an agenda.

An old Smemoranda A5 format, this one, that my friend Laura gave me as a present when we were 16.
It became thick and full of colorful scraps I found here and there. That was when cut and paste was for real, not a CTRL+C/CTRL+V sequence on a keyboard.
Mum decided that the only item she could trash from the messy cellar was precisely *that agenda*, so it’s gone for good.
I still miss it, especially the colors that were splashed in a series of three gorgeous shots for Kodak film that portrayed a lady all painted in blues, greens, yellow. I can’t find those ads anywhere.
But perhaps these rubbish rainbows from Betty Jo will go as a colorful substitute:

My favourite airport lounge so far

…and the winner is…

Turkish Airlines senator lounge in Istanbul!

Seriously now, I have seen quite a number of lounges worldwide. But these guys, they’re just amazing.. they have a corner with pool and a REAL bookshelf with REAL, readable books, not the usual nonsense-magazines.. spectacular!

And of course, they have a couple of proper food corners (yes, with a real chef cooking proper meals, not just warming up dishes - hear this, all you *fans* of other airlines that give you crappy wurst and peanuts!). And there’s plenty of space, everything is shining and clean, the décor is just great, plenty of drinks to choose from, service is impeccable… the list goes on.

We were glad our flight was delayed… THANK YOU, super-lounge! :D
